True Worshipers need to be encouraged occasionally! An attitude of despair and hopelessness can overwhelm even the strongest member of the body of the Messiah as he or she observes the degenerating world conditions so evident on every hand in our time. Daily news media reports bring to light the constant accounts of incessant strife and violence in our country and around the world. Where is the tranquility which once blessed our land during peace time?

We recognize that our country did indeed fight wars and that the world has seen much belligerence since it was created, nevertheless, between conflicts there was always a time of peace. Today we hear of continual bellicose rumblings from near and far. Friends, I have good news for you today! An era of peace will certainly be established when the Savior Yahshua the Messiah returns from heaven to rule this earth in righteousness. How the hearts of the mothers who lost sons and daughters in conflicts must yearn for peace! The waste of war always produces destruction and desolation, disease and famine, while conversely the Kingdom of Yahweh will produce just the opposite. The Kingdom of Yahweh will inaugurate an extended period of productivity, construction, and accomplishment, a time of tranquility that will never end. Peace will endure unabated.

For just a few moments let us examine the reasons why there is a lack of peace on this earth. Over the centuries spanning the time from the creation of this earth until now, some obvious reasons must have emerged which will explain why so much belligerence has existed. The Bible holds the answer when we read the message of Psalm 144 and compare it with current world conditions. The Psalmist David implores, "From peril of sword save me, rescue me from the power of aliens who tell nothing but lies, who are prepared to swear to falsehood! May our sons be like plants growing strong from their earliest days, our daughters like corner-statutes, carvings fit for a palace; may our barns overflow with every possible crop, may our sheep in our fields be counted in their thousands and tens of thousands, may our cattle be stout and strong; and may there be an end of raids and exile, and of panic in our streets. Happy the nation of whom this is true, happy the nation whose Mighty One is Yahweh." I have read from the Jerusalem Bible translation, verses 11-15.

What a marvelously stimulating picture is created by the psalmist! Our country no longer enjoys these blessings King David describes because as a people we have forgotten Almighty Yahweh. WE HAVE TURNED OUR BACKS ON HIS RIGHTEOUS COMMANDMENTS AND HAVE REBELLED AGAINST HIS LAWS. This rejection of Yahweh’s way of doing things provides the answers regarding the reason for all the trouble which we can readily perceive around us in the world today! The ministers of Yahweh cry aloud and spare not in this day and age as we proclaim; "REPENT, REPENT, REPENT! Turn back to Almighty Yahweh in obedience to His Laws and receive a blessing from Him. Rend your hearts and not your garments! Repent and inaugurate an attitude of obedience to the Torah of Yahweh so that you will not reap His judgment and a curse. Serve Almighty Yahweh in fear and trembling so that we may be His people as were our forefathers." Who will obey? Who will serve the only true and living Elohim in reverence and fear?

This identical message was brought to earth almost 2000 years ago when Yahshua, the Messiah, came preaching a new way of life. His ideal Kingdom lifestyle was set forth in His sermon on the mount which has been recorded for us in Matthew 5, 6 and 7. As we examine the inner core of that message which has been contained in the beatitudes, we are challenged to draw closer to Yahweh by inaugurating a converted attitude. Through applying these nine maxims for happy living to ourselves, we can establish the kingdom way of life now, giving us a perfect portrayal of what our Heavenly Father sought to show us by the rules and regulations which He laid down in His Word to regulate human conduct. These commandments and laws will bring us peace, happiness, and productivity if they are followed faithfully. They will lead us into a pleasant pathway of living a rewarding life. They will cause wars, upheavals, and commotions to cease to the ends of the earth. However, this change will never take place until Yahshua our Messiah returns to rule this earth with the power of Almighty Yahweh as He establishes the Kingdom of the Heavens upon earth. Mankind has sought in vain for the pathway to peace, yet all the while the blueprint has lain dormant in the Scriptures. The fundamental blueprint to effect a change of atmosphere in this world is for the heart of man to experience a spiritual renewal.

True peace lies in the action (bearing the fruits) of the Holy Spirit of Yahweh. We may inaugurate that peace, tranquility, and joy as fruits of the Holy Spirit, but only after being baptized into the Name of Yahshua the Messiah, and repenting of our past lives of sin. The children of Yahweh can be recognized as having the Holy Spirit qualities of righteousness. They will seek to unite, rather than divide. They will seek to find harmony rather than discord. They will seek to implement the Kingdom way of life rather than being absorbed with the physical, earthly life of our avaricious generation. They will be working for peace and accord rather than furthering their own purposes. Are you experiencing the Kingdom life today? It is a great life and is only a foretaste of what we will experience when Yahshua returns.

Let me leave this parting thought with you. The True Worshipers can be identified because they have a spirit of love in their midst. Yahshua the Messiah explained: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another." (John 13:34–35).

Conversely, true love within the assembly of the saints does not tolerate sin and evil conduct. "By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Yahweh and do his commandments. For this is the love of Yahweh, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatever is begotten of Yahweh overcomes the world: and this is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith." (1 John 5:2–4). True Worshipers have an obligation to demonstrate the Kingdom way of life to those who are weary of this present evil world. Will you be among those who come out of this present evil world of Babylon, to serve Yahweh, our Father in heaven, in spirit and truth? May we assist you in making a transition into a better life?
