When Paul visited Mars Hill in Acts chapter 17, we find in verse 16 that his spirit was stirred up in him when he saw the entire city wholly given to idolatry. The phrase "wholly given to idolatry" could also be translated as "full of idols." You would hardly imagine the possibility, when at that particular moment Paul was the only person who was in pure worship while he was standing among thousands of idolators. Satan has developed a rather unique method which he uses to divert worship from Almighty Yahweh to himself. Paul was well aware of Satan’s deception and how he was perpetrating it on an unsuspecting world through idol worship.

We find these words of caution in 2 Corinthians 11:13–15. "For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into apostles of the Messiah. And no marvel; for even Satan fashions himself into an angel of light. It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also fashion themselves as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

How do you know which minister today is teaching the pure truth of the Bible and which one is the deceptive minister of Satan? You could be deceived rather easily if you are not cautious and diligent enough to prove all things. In these last days especially, you may observe a general trend toward watering down the truth of the Bible. Ministers are almost universally teaching disobedience to the commandments of Almighty Yahweh. With seeming impunity, they are teaching situation ethics, or the social gospel. It is obvious that this is not the true message of the Bible, although many people are falling for it as a new innovation to make the Scriptures relevant for our time. This is why such a prophecy is found in Revelation 12:9, "And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him." Notice the warning that Satan has DECEIVED THE WHOLE WORLD. Only a very few people will remain in the truth (Luke 18:8).

Have you ever entertained the possibility that you could be deceived into following a pathway of subservience to Satan? How do you know that you are not among those in the vast multitudes of people who are being misled while you may believe that you are obeying the Truth? How would you go about proving this conclusively one way or another?

Do you know that the Bible does not contradict itself? It sets a course of one straight line of doctrine from Genesis to Revelation. The Bible can indeed be harmonized and it brings one message to the reader, exclusively, from cover to cover. In reality, it was during the second century of our era that a heretic named Marcion developed the erroneous concept that the Old Testament was no longer necessary for salvation, and much of nominal Chr-stianity has followed that erroneous teaching down through the ages. However, in these last days you are once more hearing the true message of the ages being proclaimed over the air on The Sacred Name Broadcast and The Sacred Name Telecast. This message which you hear is the everlasting good news of salvation through the Name of the heavenly Father, Almighty Yahweh, and the Name of Yahshua the Messiah. See Revelation 14:6–7.

The message of the Bible is one of hope. It reveals that when our forefather Adam sinned and was sentenced to death, there was a plan that Yahweh put into effect whereby Adam’s descendents could eventually return to the paradise restored from which he had been evicted. When Yahweh placed man on this earth, man was given the set of directions by which to live. Just as you receive an operating manual with a new car, Almighty Yahweh outfitted man with an operating manual for human living. This was the covenant which Yahweh made with Adam when He gave Adam commandments in Genesis 2:16–17. Adam was forbidden to eat of the tree of knowing good and knowing evil. Almighty Yahweh taught man the good way of living. However, man resorted to experiment with a different set of ideas, and consequently he desired to know evil also. This unlawful, carnal desire led to the commission of sin and the ultimate downfall of humankind. Now that we have received the Law of Yahweh and the covenant which He desires to make with us, we who have known evil are developing a desire to do only good, to serve Almighty Yahweh, our heavenly Father with a pure heart and delight to do His will.

Notice very carefully also verses 22 and 23 of Matthew chapter 7. "Many will say to me in that day, Master, Master, did we not prophesy by your name, and by your name cast out demons, and by your name do many mighty works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work lawlessness."

It is incredible that people could even be performing miracles, and yet the Messiah would deny them access to the Kingdom! Could it be that they are not calling upon His True Name, the Name that He was given at birth and which holds such deep meaning in the plan of salvation? These people are workers of iniquity, which in the Greek means lawlessness. How enlightening to learn that the people who will be denied access into the Kingdom will be making their own laws apart from the Laws of Yahweh. They will be breaking the Laws of Yahweh deliberately, even if it is the least of the commandments, yet they would bind unscriptural burdens (requirements), upon their followers.

Don’t you think that it is about time that you began to follow the Messiah of the Bible and obey Him and keep His Laws perfectly? If you do not, you may be one of these unfruitful trees which will be cast into the fire. If you obey Him and live by His every Word, you will gain an entrance into the restored Eden of the coming Millennium and be granted eternal life.
