If you have ever done any amount of Bible study, you will know that the inspired Scriptures tell us that there is only ONE true Body of the Messiah. Yet, lift up your eyes, look around your neighborhood and you will behold the numerous ch-rches who believe a variety of different doctrines.

Which one is the true ch-rch? They can’t all be right! Many ministers, to justify the different denominations which proliferate today, would tell you that the true ch-rch is INVISIBLE and exists within all the ch-rches, cutting across denominational lines and encompassing spirit-begotten people in every denomination. How this could be true when Yahshua petitions the Heavenly Father that all the True Worshipers should be one in unity as Yahweh and Yahshua the Messiah are one? The sacred Scriptures tell us to come out from worldly religion and be separate.

In verse 10 of 1 Corinthians chapter 1, the Apostle Paul also instructs, "Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Sovereign Yahshua the Messiah, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment." Then he goes on to ask the question, in verse 13, "Is the Messiah divided?" This sounds like a description of the religious community—Chr-stianity today comprised of many groups holding to diverse doctrines, yet believing that the spirit of ecumenism unites all?

Perhaps we should more thoroughly explore the current trend toward ecumenical unity which appears as the "pet philosophy" of so many theological institutions of our day. I have repeatedly stated previously that no concrete unity will ever be achieved through compromise, and yet this seems to be the only direction the ecumenical movement could pursue. Our forefathers would be shocked to learn of the deterioration of their determined efforts in seeking truth, were they to return from the dead to view the religious community of our day. The ecumenical movement has not succeeded in drawing True Worshipers closer together, but has succeeded in isolating or ostracizing those people who are sincerely studying their Bibles, pushing them out on the fringes by calling them a "cult." Just as surely as was the case during the Dark Ages with sincere religious groups who would not compromise with plain scriptural teachings (such as the Waldenses and the Albigenses), the True Worshipers today will not compromise their conscience. No unity of religious purpose can be accomplished by leaders who preach a theory that the Almighty has died, or that the inspired Scriptures are a myth, or that the Bible is the invention of irrational men.

Who would follow critics that espouse the Graf-Wellhausen documentary hypothesis theory? Bible students, who are proving its inspiration and authenticity, will never fall into such traps like the one being set by ministers who appear to be enlightened, but in actuality are the ones called by the Apostle Paul (in 2 Corinthians chapter 11) "ministers of Satan." They transform themselves into ministers of righteousness although they undermine the unity and veracity of the sacred Word of the Most High through declaring that the Messiah’s death has annulled Yahweh’s law.

During the past few broadcasts I have been pursuing the subject of identifying the True Worshipers exclusively from the description of them found in the Bible. This series is made in response to letters from inquirers who have repeatedly asked this question during past weeks. If you are as interested as I was in locating this group of dedicated, spiritual people, you may be surprised to find them accurately described in the Bible so that you may recognize them unmistakably. In these last days, at the close of man’s age, it should be our earnest desire to be a member of this select group, even though the faith of these people will come under severe testing in our time.

If I may be so bold, let me challenge you TODAY to look more closely into modern religion and find out for yourself that it is NOT derived from the Bible, but from traditions passed down to us from unconverted pagans. From using another name for the Almighty than the one Name which He himself called himself in His Word, to observing wrong holidays, even to celebrating the birth of the new sun at the winter solstice, renouncing the Biblical dietary law, etc., modern religion is almost a carbon copy of ancient sun worship, or Baal worship.

In these last days at the close of this age, thinking people can see that something is amiss. Modern religion has not provided the answers to the questions of our day, but it has actually capitulated to the influence of Satan.

How about you? Will you find the door slammed in your face when the Savior returns, because you have not lived a life of sincere obedience to Him? Or, conversely, will you be allowed into His Kingdom age because you implemented the law of Yahweh in your personal life.

While there is still time, begin now to study your Bible and prove to yourself that it is true, and then begin to obey its instructions. You will never regret your decision.
