Following is an excerpt from The Sacred Name Broadcaster. |
" And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, in that they have forsaken me, and have burned incense to other elohim, and worshiped the works of their own hands. You therefore gird up your loins, and arise, and speak to them all that I command you: be not dismayed at them, lest I dismay you before them. For, behold, I have made you this day a fortified city, and an iron pillar, and bronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes of it, against the priests of it, and against the people of the land. And they shall fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you: for I am with you, says Yahweh, to deliver you." (Jeremiah 1:16-19).Like a flower unfolding during the pleasant growing conditions of summer, the central part of the book of Revelation has taken on a new meaning and beauty as we have concentrated upon studying it in this manner. For the past several months we have been engaged in a concentrated study of these central chapters in the book of Revelation and they have definitely taken on a new luster and clarity. New understanding has thrilled our hearts! Since, of recent date, we have come to perceive the rapid development of events that are now occurring in the Middle East, and which, if they continue on their present course could usher in the Second Coming of the Messiah, it becomes so much more imperative to comprehend what Yahweh has told us in the book of Revelation. Nevertheless, like the people of Jeremiah’s time, those citizens of Judah to whom he delivered Yahweh’s message, the people all around us today appear to spurn the message of the Word of Yahweh. Even though Yahweh’s truth is preached over television, radio, and the printed page, and it goes far and wide today, evidently it does not readily convict the heart of those who hear it. Obviously this message of truth today falls upon unrepentant, hardened hearts. We pray that the hearers would yield so that they would voluntarily submit themselves to the will of the Most High. However, what do we behold the people doing? They anger Yahweh with traditional pagan celebrations. "Therefore pray not for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me; for I will not hear you. See you not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink-offerings to other elohim, that they may provoke me to anger." (Jeremiah 7:16-18). This passage, of course, is concentrating upon the popular spring feasts in the world devoted to the queen of heaven, but you will notice how united the people are in their devotion and participation. Children are gathering wood, fathers are kindling the fire, and the women are kneading the dough as all involve themselves in this pagan celebration. Everyone has his or her personal role to play. We find a prophecy in Isaiah 34:4, that parallels the rolling up of the heavens as a scroll. "And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and all their host shall fade away, as the leaf fades from off the vine, and as a fading leaf from the fig tree." Who is able to stand? The answer to that question is, those who believe in every word of the sacred Scriptures and harmonize the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, never changing the message to suit themselves. It will be those who are obedient to Yahweh’s berith (covenant), those who keep His Torah (law), and those who accept the sacrifice of Yahshua, who can stand at all times. See Ephesians 6:10-18. We have a description of the True Worshipers in Revelation 12:17. "And the dragon became exceedingly angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the remnant of her seed, that keep the commandments of Yahweh, and hold the testimony of Yahshua." It is also described in Revelation 12:12, "Here is the patience of the saints; They that keep the commandments of Yahweh, and the faith of Yahshua." Keeping Yahweh’s commandments will give the True Worshiper patience to live the forthcoming years day by day and make it to the end of the age, to Yahshua’s Second Coming. There is no group on the earth today that is teaching and observing the commandments of Yahweh as is the Assemblies of Yahweh. The Assemblies of Yahweh is unique in standing for and living Yahweh’s way of life that is outlined for us in His eternal Torah. I pray that we have all received a blessing so far out of this series and that we will all be able to stand in the last days. I have recently read a book on the Holocaust written by a religious Jew. This man commented that the things that happened to people during that awful period are absolutely incomprehensible. People would frequently change when finally they were put to the test. Some people would inform against their brethren. Others would falsely accuse their brethren. Some would fail to help their brethren. Some even would steal from their brethren. Consequently, very few Jews emerged from the Holocaust, but I pray that all of us can be faithful and in sound doctrine and that we will endure to the end for this is what the Scriptures tell us we must do. "Because you did keep the word of my patience, I will also keep you from the hour of trial, that hour which is to come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." (Revelation 3:10). In these five chapters that we have considered, Revelation chapters 10 to 14, we are assured that we can find salvation, but it is up to us to fulfill our calling and keep the faith. In Yahshua the Messiah’s Name let us pray that we will be faithful to the end and may be strong so that we can endure. Yes, we can stand faithfully in the face of these trials and we will, with the help of Yahweh’s Holy Spirit! May Yahweh bless you! Editor’s Note: Since the method employed by the author is such a radical departure from that employed by other teachers of Bible prophecy, yet it is so simple and logical to interpret Scripture with other Scripture, the author recommends that you restudy this chapter several times to gain the full impact of what he has pointed out. Don’t just read this material, but study it very carefully so you will not forget it.
